Name of file?

I am using Firefox and when I inspect an element on the page and I am looking at HTML code... how can I identify the actual HTML file I am looking at?  I see what I want to change but just don't which, of many, HTM files it is.

Short answer: The HTML source is returned by the server from the URL you called. Please see the Firebug FAQ for more info:

For simple websites you can have a look at the URL. If the server doesn't do any mapping, redirecting, etc., the URL will end with the file name, e.g. http://localhost/test.html. In all other cases the points of the FAQ entry I linked to should be considered.
