Long running script errors

Hi,

I don't have a test case but would like to report what I've seen today
with FB 1.8b6 in FF 8.0a1 (2011-08-03).

I closed a tab with google docs, and Firefox started using lots of CPU
and increasing its use of RAM rapidly. And while doing that (for a few
minutes), it displayed "Unresponsive script" errors about
resource://firebug_rjs/net/netPanel.js:960 and resource://firebug_rjs/lib/css.js:233.

Maybe this will be helpful to anyone here.

Note, that we already released the final version of 1.8 and there is
even already a 1.8.1b1 available at http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.8/.
Though they are not working together with 8.0a1. Therefore we already
have 1.9.0a1 at http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.9/. Also FF
8.0a1 tends to be unstable sometimes.
If you experience that regularily, try to track it down to a simple
test case and let us know. Then either we can fix it or the Mozilla
guys.

Firebug version: 1.8.2 on ff 6.0.2

The same question as above. Do you use console.timeStamp() method in

Well, it's "just" google docs, neither a page I have created or have available on my machines, nor a single html page I can easily store using "save as" - happens eg. when editing for a while a Document-type document.

I know it's going to be hard to reproduce, given this vague statement.

Only thing I noticed when trying to open firebug: the list of items available in the net panel (XHR requests) was so long that it was most likely full/overflowing...
