firebug 1.8 breaks firephp

Hello!
Today I updated firebug from 1.7.3 to 1.8b4 and noticed this problem.
The problem is: firephp cannot send it's header 'X-FirePHP-Version', also it fails to modify user-agent.
One of these actions is required to notify server-side library to send debug info.
Is there any way to fix this without upgrading firephp to beta version?
