measuring tool

Is there any firebug extension that can be used to measure distances between elements-like a ruler.

Or at least, it has such a feature.

Firebug, in its basic form does not have a such a feature-tool.

The firefox addon "Web Developer" has rulers and a number of other
tools that complement Firebug quite well and do not conflict.

Ι know, but i would wish not to have to open also the web developer tools and firebug at the same time.
For practicality reasons i would like to have such a tool in firebug.

Anyway, i will do my job with wdev tools

Firebug also has a ruler feature:

1. Inspect an element on the page, the HTML panel is selected.
2. Select the Layout side panel.
3. Hover mouse over the layout info.
4. See vert and horz rulers on the page.

Note, that the Layout side panel has an option (in the tab mini menu)
that can be used to switch this feature off (on by default)
