email triggers supported?

With the announcement of all the new features in Firebase, does anyone know if email triggers will be supported? As in, I insert a record into a table and based on a column's value send an email notification to an end user?

Hi Brian,

James announced in the Firebase Overview talk that we are working on an integration with GCF.

No ballparks or public release dates I can share, of course. But we want this as much as you do! I promise it's a top priority. It just didn't make it in time for the I/O release.
