Summary: I love both Nancy and Mags so much, and the way that Nancy is a part of Margaret's family; I was so happy that they got to kiss because I'd been shipping them the whole time. I don't think I'm especially interested in fic set when they're pretty young - not because of underage, but because two orphans against the world is less interesting to me than the way they continue to be that important to each other when they have their own houses and their own businesses and Margaret has a partner (who, like Nancy, she's also not married to) and children.
At signup deadline I still haven't seen the final episode of season 2, but I doubt anything that happens in it will change my desire for fic for them, whether that's set pre-, during, or post-canon. (Feel free to canon-diverge in season 2 if you need to due to Events, but I would be less interested in fic that ignores season 2 entirely.)

Summary: Well, you can probably figure out from my requests here that I'm a big fan of loyalty kink, especially in some kind of martial context. These can be made-up societies, AU history where integrated or all-female armies were the norm, both women disguised as men in male armies, contexts where male soldiers are the norm but our female characters are there too for reasons...I think I'd prefer a context a little removed from the modern, but there's a lot of room for flexibility there. I love the trust involved in loyalty-centric stories and ships, and also the stuff about idealism that's often related to it, whether that's pure idealism and following someone's ideals as well as them as an individual, rejection of idealism and loyalty only to a person, times when personal and ideological loyalty may conflict.

Mamiina/Rodoreamon, Aaeru/Neviril, Fanfiction
Summary: I come down very hard on the "Simoun is a military canon" side of the discussion (and the fact that it doesn't look like it's supposed to be is a big theme of the show *for the characters*), and I enjoy how the relationships in the show, and the individual character development of the characters in them, are in large part moved along by the events of the war. I'd be interested in a fic that leans into that - the way that they have relationships as people and also relationships as comrades-in-arms that are sometimes in tension; their different attitudes towards, and ways of handling, things that happen in their jobs; the trust and loyalty born out of the situation they're thrust into.
