Greeting Fanboys and Fangirls!  Welcome to the Fanboy Comics Weekly Newsletter.  Today in comics history was the opening of the 1st San Diego Comic Con International in the US Grant Hotel in 1970.  Also today in 1961 was the Beatles first appearance at the Cavern Club in Liverpool.  This segways nicely into telling you about our new Music Comics display which features lots of comics about the Beatles and Music History.  Probably one of the best things I have read about the early Beatles is the Original Graphic Novel (OGN) called Baby's In Black by Anne Bellstorf published by First Seconds.  I highly recommend this to Beatles fans, and fans of the OGN format!

Brown Bag Dollar Box Sale!  The Saturday after Free Comic Book Day on May 13th. We will have over 100 long boxes of comics reduced to $1 each, or you can fill a brown paper bag with as many comics as you can stuff inside for just $20!  Most bags can fit about 50 or 60 comics. The record is 97!  We only do this sale twice a year so make sure you save the date!
