Дорогие коллеги!

 

Международная сеть Wetand Link International (WLI) заканчивает сбор данных о ваших водно-болотных угодьях для подготовки обзора "Изучение современного состояния водно-болотных угодий в мире". Пожалуйста, если кто-то еще не заполнил форму с описанием ваших ВБУ (форма очень маленькая), найдите 10 минут ее заполнить. Особенно это важно для ВБУ, которые соответствуют международным критериям, но так и не были включены в Рамсарский лист. А поскольку в России, за исключением 35 ВБУ, больше ничего не включено (и включать никто не собирается), то о ценности наших ВБУ надо не лениться постоянно напоминать на международном уровне. В первую очередь, это относится к угодьям, вообще не имеющим охранного статуса, но тем не менее, соответствующим международным критериям.

You can still complete the "Survey on the State of the World's Wetlands" until 30th September 2017.  To improve knowledge and to better inform policy and decision-making on wetlands, we are conducting this simple global survey to gain better understanding of the state of wetlands. We know that knowledge about the status and trends of the world's remaining wetlands is still incomplete and limited. This survey is a collaborative effort between the Society of Wetland Scientists, the World Wetland Network and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust with the assistance of the Secretariat of the Ramsar Convention.
