Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the World Bank Group and the Partnership for Market Readiness (PMR), we are pleased to invite you to participate in an upcoming Webinar overview of the newly-released Carbon Tax Guide: A Handbook for Policy Makers. https://openknowledge.worldbank.org/handle/10986/26300
This new guide has two main objectives. First, it serves as practical tool to help policymakers determine whether a carbon tax is the right instrument to achieve national policy goals. Additionally, it is a resource to support the design and implementation of a tax that is best suited to the specific needs, circumstances, and objectives of national policy. The guide provides both conceptual analysis and important practical lessons learned from implementing carbon taxes around the world.
For an overview of the guide, we invite you to participate in one of the upcoming webinars, offered twice for your convenience. Learn all you ever wanted to know about carbon taxes!
