Conclusive Events under the Project “Supporting Agricultural Co-operation in
Georgia” Organized in Gori, Kaspi and Akhmeta Municipalities




On 15th, 19th and 21st of December, 2017, OXFAM and Biological Farming
Association ELKANA within the framework of the European Neighborhood Program
for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD), and the EU funded project
“Towards New Direction - Supporting Agricultural Co-operation in Georgia”
organized project conclusive events in the municipalities of Akhmeta (hotel
“Savaneti”, village Ikalto), Kaspi (“Art Villa Garikula”, village
Akhalkalaki) and Gori (Gori, restaurant “Black Star”).



Representatives of local self-government, project beneficiaries -
cooperative members and demo plot owners, farmers, representatives of
Municipal Information-Consultation Centers and invited guests attended to
the events where activities implemented in the municipalities of Gori, Kaspi
and Akhmeta were summarized and reports were presented followed by
cooperative exhibition and closure ceremony.



The event is supported by the European Union through ENPARD programme.
Implemented since 2013 with a total budget of EUR 102 million (2013-2019),
the main goal of ENPARD is to reduce rural poverty in Georgia. More
