Dear colleagues,

we are delighted to announce that our friends from Scifabric, the company which focuses on developing technologies for collecting, analysing and enriching data through crowds, have kindly agreed to host a PYBOSSA workshop during our next meeting in Iasi.

PYBOSSA is an open-source Python framework for developing crowdsourcing solutions. It is widely used all over the world and it also powers Scifabric’s Crowdcrafting platform.

The workshop will introduce the basics of how a PYBOSSA project works, how to import any type of tasks (images, videos, audios, PDFs, etc.) and how to analyze/enrich them with the help of the crowd.

We’re looking for 15-20 enthusiastic developers, programmers and and other tech-savvy ENetCollect members who are interesting in learning the basics of PYBOSSA. Previous experience with Python is helpful, although not necessary. Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JS, however, is required.

The workshop will take place on March 16 and 17 in Iasi, after the conclusion of the WG meetings.
