Private equity funds and wealthy individuals have been buying up services previously run by governments in order to slurp up the economic rent (revenue without a corresponding cost of production).

Public services are monopolies or near monopolies and thus can be priced to generate significant economic rent.

Traditionally owned and operated by government at cost or slightly above so that the economic rent accrues to the public. But no longer.

Dear All,

Is there any material to be read to attend the Council of Georgist Organizations? If so please send it in PDF form.
