In our DF Water PIL we have asked one of relief

NO NEW COLONY SHALL BE APPROVE IN DELHI WITHOUT ASSURED WATER SUPPLY

Court also has limitations

In land pooling policy NO BODY IS MADE ACCOUNTABLE FOR WATER SUPPLY by MUD/ DDA. Will encourage speculative land trading and ordinary poor man will lose the money.

DDA is working like business organization and not accountable for after sale service to customers. Facility like Water/ Power/ Sewer/ Strom Drains/ Waste Management/ Plantation/ School/ Hospitals etc

Our central Govt is working like PROPERTY DEALERS. Popular move for present, no analysis of future problems.

No need to wonder who will provide water to these 20 lakhs flats/dwellings.

It is crystal clear that Water for these 20 lakhs  dwellings/flats will be provided for by D.J.B. For eg - water req of 1281 KL for HIG flats in sec 19, Dwarka Phase-2....whose proposal was passed by EAC, Govt of India. in June 2015 will be provided by D.J.B. This is clearly mentioned in the clearance proposal of EAC,Govt of India.

So, it is quite clear that the D.D.A and Union Govt has not learnt any lesson from Dwarka's example......they are going to replicate the folly by constructing more flats in Dwarka Phase-2.....who in turn will not have any water....

MAJORITY OF NEW TOWNSHIPS ARE DECIDED BY MOUD NOT BY DELHI GOVT.

You want, We shall teach basic logic of Town Planning to DDA/ MUD via court.

You also want another fight between DELHI CM & CENTRAL GOVT (MUD/ DDA)

I PRAY GOD SHALL GIVE SOME BRAIN TO APPROVERS OF DELHI LAND POLING POLICY

Dear Sir,

It is evident that responsibility to supply water in Delhi is of D.J.B.

Please mention sec 76(1) of THE DELHI JAL BOARD ACT, 1998 in DWARKA FORUM WATER PIL PROCEEDINGS, in which it is clearly stated that "No person shall make any development without obtaining permission from the Board to the effect that sufficient arrangement will be made for drainage, sewerage and supply of wholesome water, and every such development shall be made subject to and in accordance with any conditions laid down with such permission"

So, D.J.B can act pro actively and not give  Water Permission/ Clearance to flats/dwellings/infra structure projects, to whom D.J.B can't assure water supply.

Sec76(1) of D.J.B ACT 1998

76.

(1)

No person shall make any development without obtaining permission from the Board to the effect that sufficient arrangement will be made for drainage, sewerage and supply of wholesome water, and every such development shall be made subject to and in accordance with any conditions laid down with such permission.
