Congratulation for being successful even after long follow-up.  There are cases where no success even after prolong follow-up.  Mr. Arun Banerjee will tell this. This has been a loooong pending case with DDA AND BSES. Started way back 2009..wrote to LG, DDA, BSES.. Last letter I have us from DDA ELECTRICAL DIVision 5 dated 05/3/10... Where in the EE RC MITTAL- stating that "survey is Bering conducted to assess the possibility for providing the street light on the service roads wherever it is feasible."

Last i heard in December 2010 that my files is lost. Kept following up and till date nothing has moved.

Its a simple request to have street lights in our service lane. Sector 6, from plot nos 30 - 35. Opposite maxfort school. I gave up in between because of other priority work.... And it does  not surprise me that even with regular follow up u don't get results!  I stopped following up so nothing has moved!!

I can understand your plight; as I am also fed up complaining to authorities about faulty traffic lights in Sector - 12. BSES took more than 7 months to repair 17 Street Lights remaining 150 - 180 still not working... Can't call this a even partial success. Wish you luck in your endeavour; on my front i have filled RTI and expecting replies from them. 

Heard that one party has come up with "RWA Vision Document" having proposal of Citizen LAD Funds; which shall be used through RWA's. Hope something like that gets implemented so that we don't have to run after officers of various agencies, Councillors, MLA's and MP's. This I feel would empower normal citizens like us.

But, another issue is that many of us don't give much importance to opposition party; our constitution have created the present structure so that ruling party can be questioned.

Pankaj- we have taken up so many issues and got them resolved but unfortunately this has gone in circles ! Will take it up again now. Let's see what have they got to say!

You won't believe when I started I was made to run from pillar to post literally- MP, MLA, councillor, DDA, BSES,,, LG - u name it and the letters were footballed around and finally dda electrical letter along with bses. I assume the survey that they were conducting.... Looks like it's never ending one and is still continuing!!! This is the state of affairs ! The authorities don't do their job and the residents have to do their work. Don't know what is that they get paid for?!
