Deadline Extended: Special issue on modelling forest ecosystems in Ecological Modelling

The editors of the special issue "Modelling Forest Ecosystems" to be published in ECOLOGICAL MODELLING (IF 2.507) would like to invite all scientists working on any aspect related to forest ecosystems to submit their research papers to the special issue, already open for submissions and with a deadline extended to March 31st, 2019.

Although all authors are welcome, we are particularly interested in research papers leaded by young scientists, who could showcase their skills in applying new complex algorithms, large data bases o new approaches to ecological modelling of forest ecosystems in all their spatial, temporal and biological complexity scales, including works focused not only in ecological interactions, but also in socio-ecological relationships.

Interest authors can contact the guest editors to check if their proposed work fits with the special issue aims and scope.
