Cranfield University (UK) is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant or Post Doc Research Fellow in Agricultural Water Management for 18 months to work on a really interesting project improving irrigation management in bananas. Based at Cranfield but with extensive fieldwork in Colombia working with our project partners and smallholders. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable. The role will require application/development of a crop model, multiple data integration (GIS, remote sensing, field) and analysis to provide user-friendly advice and a support tool for farmers.

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 depending on experience/qualifications
