Dear DSSAT Colleagues,

The Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI), Institute for Strategies and Technology Assessment, in Kleinmachnow at the outskirts of Berlin, Germany, is advertising a PhD-position on barley crop modelling.

In the project “MORGEN“ ("Modeling drought stress tolerance in barley using biological crop protection - the crop of tomorrow"), three JKI-institutes work together in an interdisciplinary research approach to make barley fit for climate change. We are seeking a motivated young scientist to develop drought tolerant barley ideotypes building on primary phenotypic and genotypic data using process-based plant growth models.

Please feel free to circulate the post within your network.

Thank you!

With best regards,

Til
