The First Announcement of International Joint Conference on Ecological Conservation (IJCEC 2017)
The Chinese Society of Environmental Resources and Ecological Conservation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Taiwan Chinese Culture University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, HW Eco Research Group of Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Research and Development Centre are organizing theInternational Joint Conference on Ecological Conservation, (IJCEC2017) which is a joint meeting of the 4th International Symposium on Environment, Natural Resources and Ecological Conservation (ISENREC2017) and the First Meeting of International Research Network on Grassland GHG Emissions and Mitigation Strategies (IRNGGEM2017). This conference will take place at Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 11-20, 2017. Here is arrangement:
1) ISENREC2017 starts on September 11-13 include an one-day scientific tour;
2) Post-symposium scientific tour on September 14-16; and
3) IRNGGEM2017 starts on September 17-20 with field surveys, meetings and discussions at Swift Current and Lethbridge Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research and Development Centres and participants will return to Calgary on September 20.
The theme of ISENREC2017 is “Balancing Development and Conservation - Save Our Air, Soil and Water”, and the topics of interest are:
1. Greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation strategies
2. Soil protection and remediation
3. Water pollution treatment and prevention
4. Impacts of climate change on ecological environment
5. Ecosystem modeling and its application on environment conservation
6. RS, GPS, GIS and other advanced technologies in ecosystem environment managements.
The purpose of IRNGGEM2017 is to exchange research ideas and methodologies and discuss areas for collaboration and set up an international research network on grassland GHG emissions and mitigation strategies. For people who are interested in attending IRNGGEM2017, please not only fill the form and submit it online or via email to mary_...@hw-erg.org, but also please conduct Dr.Alan D. Iwaasa alan....@agr.gc.ca to roughly introduce your research, your interest to join the network and what you can contribute to the network, such as reducing enteric methane emissions from grazing ruminants, grassland management impacts on GHG emissions, grassland management effects on soil carbon sequestration, etc. To know Dr. Alan D.
