Hi,
recently I have migrated my version of DSpace from 3.5 version to the latest one (6.0-rc2-SNAPSHOP), and I noticed something weird, the collections and sub-communities doesn't appear alphabetically sorted, when I add a new collection into a sub-community it goes directly to the bottom of the list of collections, doesn't matter the name of the collection.

The same happens in new DSpace installation

Here is what I've tested:
  • A-Test (Community)
    • A-Test (Collection of A-Test)
    • Z-Test (Collection of A-Test)
    • B-Test (Collection of A-Test)
    • AA (sub-Community of A-Test)
    • CC (sub-Community of A-Test)
    • BB (sub-Community of A-Test)
  • B-Test (Community)
  • C-Test (Community)
  • T-Test (Community)

The top level communities are well sorted

Anyone has noticed it? I'm missing something, maybe a parameter that I have to set up?

Thanks!
Bests regards
Joan

This was discussed today in the DSpace developers' meeting.  It looks like a bug, and the recommendation is to submit a Jira issue so that it stays on the radar.

Hi Euler,

I think that it haven't been submitted yet.

I asked for a JIRA account to report that issue, but I'm pending of approval.

Can you submit it?

Thank you

Bests

Joan

Hi Joan,
