[dorkbotpdx-announce] Email list changeover

For many years now, the dorkbot mailing lists, including dorkbotpdx,
have been generously hosted on a server at Columbia University where
Douglas Repetto started Dorkbot.

The time has come for that server to be retired and there is no plan of
creating a new one.

Fortunately, Douglas has given us all advance notice about this change
and we will be migrating the dorkbotpdx-announce list and
dorkbotpdx-blabber lists to Google groups before the shutdown.

These groups already exist in Groups, and searchable archives will be
maintained.

We also acknowledge that there are some that don't want to be migrated.
Now is the time to unsubscribe if you do not wish to be migrated. We
expect this change to happen soon (probably within the next week or
two), and we will automatically migrate all current list subscribers to
the appropriate google group(s).

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this will be a direct-add without
confirmation of about 370 poeple on the blabber list and 511 people on
the announce list. Of the 370 blabber subscribers, 80 of you are
configured for digest mode (daily mailings), and tho we'll try to keep
your settings the same, there is a high liklihood that it won't happen
and you'll get individual emails. You should be able to (re)configure
this after the change tho....I think.

Again, if you don't want this auto-add to a new google group (email
list) please feel free to opt out of this group (and/or announce) now.
