There's a group of us in Biocurious looking for a plasmid with the 35s promoter.  Anyone know where we can get it for cheap/free?
Thanks,
Cameron

If all you need is a plasmid to use as a PCR template then I can
definitely help. Email me off the list with your address and such.
If you need something else, like a plasmid with an empty multi-cloning
site downstream of the 35S, I may be able to dig up something from my
collection, I'll have to look around.

Also, recently there is a trend moving away from 35S towards UBQ1
promoters derived from the species from which the transgene is being
inserted. It provides a more uniform expression level throughout all
the tissue in the plant.
