Hi Design Gigs for Good community,

Thanks so much for all the energy and contributions to this board!

Recently, we’ve been getting regular requests for help with email subscription settings. If you’re getting too many emails/not enough emails, want to invite new friends, or reach out to us, we’ve put together this handy how-to so you can manage your account without needing our help or messaging the whole group.

I would like to receive fewer emails...

OPTION 1

You can receive a summary of emails in your inbox, rather than each individual email. To do so:

1. Go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/design-gigs-for-good.

2. Click on the “My Settings” button at the top right corner of the screen.

3. Click on “Membership and email settings.”

4. From there, you can choose to either receive daily updates or 25-email digests.

You can stop receiving emails altogether, and follow us on Twitter to see the latest gigs posted: https://twitter.com/designgigs4good

I would like to unsubscribe from this list…

OPTION 1

1. Open the latest email you received from the Google Group.

2. At the bottom of the email, click on the unsubscribe link design-gigs-for-good+unsub...@googlegroups.com to send an email (any email) from the email address you signed up with.

OPTION 2

1. Go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/design-gigs-for-good.

2. Click on the “My Settings” button at the top right corner of the screen.

3. Choose “Leave this group.”

2. Click on the “Manage members” link at the top right corner of the screen

3. Click on “Invite members” in the left sidebar of the screen.

I would like to do something else that’s not covered here…

OPTION 1

Send an email to the address design-gigs-for-good+owners@googlegroups.com, which will send an email to the owners only rather than the entire Google Group membership.

OPTION 2

1. Go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/design-gigs-for-good.

2. Click on the “About” link at the top right corner of the screen.

3. Click on “Contact owner and manager.”
