Interesting. It's too late for Dataverse to apply but I like this new program:
https://opensource.googleblog.com/2019/03/introducing-season-of-docs.html
"Season of Docs brings technical writers and open source projects together for a few months to work on open source documentation. 2019 is the first time we’re running this exciting new program."
It looks like Google pays the writer $6000 or so:
https://developers.google.com/season-of-docs/docs/tech-writer-stipends#total_stipend_amount
Oh well, maybe next year. We've gotten plenty of great doc improvements from the community over the years. If you'd like to contribute, please check out the "Help Wanted: Documentation" label at
https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22Help+Wanted%3A+Documentation%22
:)
Thanks,
Phil
