Sybase with datamapper on jruby?

Hi,
I would have thought it'd be possible to hookup datamapper with sybase using jdbc under jruby. My initial googling doesn't turn up obvious answers on it though.
It'd use the jTDS driver, same as for SQL Server so any info on SQL Server using jdbc would also be useful.
