This email is being sent by Division 28 South Secretary, Paree Chan.

Happy Thanksgiving Seamonkeys! I hope everyone is having a great day and is eating a lot of turkey! This email will give a breakdown of the election process as we are currently in the third quarter of the Key Club year. Clubs should have the new term and leadership in mind. 

Why should you run for officer positions?
  • If you are passionate about key club, running for a position will help you learn more about key club altogether. 
  • You will develop leadership skills and responsibility.
  • Meeting new people and making new friendships :)
Types of elections/applications and when they're held 
  • Club
                 - Before January 31, 2019
  • Division 
                 - LTG election - January 26, 2019
                 -  DLT appointment - April- May, after DCON
  • District 
                 - Executive election - April 11-13, 2019 at DCON
                 - Leadership Team (editors, committee chairs) - April-                         May, after DCON 
  • International 
                 - All July 3-7, 2019, at ICON
How to run 
  • Find out what position you want to run for 
                - Information about individual positions are in the 
                  Elections Guide (attached) 
  • Talk to your home club about their specific election procedure
  • If you want to run for LTG, you should attend the CTC 
                - Logistics 
                       - When: December 8, 2018
                       - Where: Green Valley High School 
                       - Time : 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM
                       - Dress Code: Key club Casual (Key Club T-Shirt,                                 ankle length pants) 
                       - To attend, make sure to first register here!
  • If you want to run for District Executive, go to DOCTC 
                 - (http://www.cnhkeyclub.org/events/ctc)
  • If you want to run for an international position, contact LTG Katrina
Who Can Vote?
  • Any paid member in good standing is allowed to vote
  • Pay your dues! Have a voice! :)
