Hi all,

I was able to build androidtv and get an image to put in nand with dedicated tools.

I would like to know if it is possible to install android into uSD, instead than nand,
so I can fastly try my changes without touch pre-build android stored in nand but
cubieboard sellers.

Thank you very much for suggestions.
Best regards,

Silverio

Ok, I made a script to automate the entire process starting from build path of android (not a LiveSuite img file).

The usage is very simple.

- Insert SD card in PC reader.
- Edit cubieboard.sh and change DEV= to your SD device and BUILD_PATH to your Android build output path.
- Editor your partitions.txt to meed your SD size or needs.
- Put your script.bin in support path (I've left my script.bin / fex just for sample).
- Change user to su or run with sudo.
- Call ./cubieboard.sh.
- Wait a little.
- When finished put the SD on cubie and boot !
- Enjoy it !!!!

That's all folks.

Stefan,

I need to ask because in linux-sunxi there is already an HOW-TO page http://linux-sunxi.org/Boot_Android_from_SdCard
which is used to create an SD starting from a LiveSuit IMG file (for who don't has build Android from sources, like I do) and that doc,
unfortunately, have also some issue (eg: I've tried and mkimage create a bad uImage file).

I don't know who ask about, really...
