CozyRoc mapping for CRM Templates

Is there a way to automatically map fields from a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Template file into CRM using Cozyroc?

We have entities with hundreds of fields so without this its a very time consuming process to map them all.

Hi Ivan,

Yes its a template downloaded straight from CRM. Due to the amount or rows to be imported we cant use the standard CRM Import so we were hoping to use Cozyroc to import them, but the fields don't map across atomically by the looks of it, or I haven't found out how to do it.

Its CRM 2015 Online.

I was able to download a template for sm entity. Still I'm not exactly sure what is the purpose of this. From what I can see it looks like this is simply a list of the available entity attributes. COZYROC adapters already provides the list of entity attributes, so I don't know what purpose these templates serve. Can you provide more details what you are trying to accomplish ?

Essentially, we have entities in CRM with lots of custom attributes (200+), the customer is using the CRM Templates to populate the data to be imported which we are going to use SSIS/CozyRoc to import from the Excel template. When it comes to mapping the fields from the Excel template to the CRM Fields in the Cozyroc adapter we wanted to know whether there is a way to ‘Automap’ them to save time. We have 100+ custom entities all with a lot of custom fields so if there is a way to Automap the fields then it would save us a lot of time setting it up.

Pete,

You are mistaken. There is no mapping information found in the CRM Template file. If the source -> destination columns match, the adapter will automatically map them. So again I don't see what is the point of the so called CRM Template. As I've said the CRM template contains simply a list of attributes found in an entity.
