0.10.0 version Kafka client libraries compatibility with 0.9.0.1 (CP 2.0.1) Kafka brokers

Will 0.10.0 version Kafka client applications such as Kafka connect, Camus, etc be compatible with 0.9.0.1 (CP 2.0.1)  Kafka? Can I use  0.10.0 version Kafka connect with 0.9.0.1 (CP 2.0.1) Kafka?

Mangesh,

0.10 clients do not work with 0.9 brokers. However, 0.9 clients work with 0.10 brokers. That is, brokers support older clients, but not newer clients.
