I'm not sure exactly what the structure of things on Saturday will be,
but I wanted to throw out there a couple of Jaaga projects that might
be interesting to people.
1. Programmable LEDs
Ravi has been designing a programmable LED light system.
It can be controlled locally with mic & proximity sensors. I'm hoping
he can come and talk about his design and maybe some of us can
assemble them.
2. Open Kinect
If you haven't seen the kinect you should check out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUG-Uvq-J-w
Its a hackable 3d scanner so people can use their
bodies as computer control devices. We have one
here at Jaaga and have dones some basic hacking
on it. We would like to do more and are looking for
volunteers who are into this kind of thing.
3. OpenFrameWorks.cc
Last month we got an audio interface with 10 independent audio output
channels, speakers and amps. Along with Ravi's lights and our projectors
and the Kinect we now have an amazing array of devices we can control
as well as a super cool input device. OpenFrameWorks seems to be the
glue people use to make these different things work together. Its a C++
framework that we haven't used yet, but we need to.
See you Saturday at Jaaga.

I was not able to attend Hackathon on last Saturday. I would like to
have a look at projects you mentioned and also would like to
volunteer.
I am interested in projects which uses game controller technologies
like Kinect and motion controllers.
In one of my projects I have worked with wii controller and arduino
where I managed to control a rover with wii remote.

There are cool ideas and projects which are done with wii remote.

I guess with kinect also we can do some cool stuff like this.
Even OpenFrameWorks looks cool. With all these kind of frameworks and
technologies we can bring art, creativity and technology together and
do some cool projects.
