Here at PSU, we have a number of 3179G terminals to connect to the VM system
on campus. I've noticed that certain ones beep, while others do not. I've
looked for a volume knob (like on the 3178C's) but without any success.

Does anyone out there know how to control the beep on a 3179G? This isn't
crucial or anything, I am just curious.
