Well, the web-pages are fully uploaded and done and dusted. Have a look over at connosoft.com to see the full HTML/CSS glory! (clear your cache if you've already viewed the page, so that you get the updated stylesheets. Press Ctrl+F5 to do a full reload.)

I will be considering submissions submitted from the 1st of January 2020 onwards. Get crackin'! ;)

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the ZX80, I've posted a new challenge on the competition website.

If you'd like to participate, you have until the 26th of February (28 days to deliver your game, in true Sinclair fashion). Good luck!

Hi All,

I believe I may be the person responsible for the absence of a 2019 CSSCGC.

Piss poor communications and comprehension on my part I am afraid. I am really sorry.

I was declared the loser (winner?) of 2018 with my entry, the LCD game+watch simulator, Go Race!

I can not repair the hole in the CSSCGC continuum, but I can do one small thing. I can donate my prize to be the prize in this years contest. The box has been opened but it is all there and in good nick. I have updated the firmware and will bung in a USB stick with some extra games and gubbins.

Sincerely, Simon.

Hi Simon,

Never mind about 2019, the winner/loser rule has been flipped a few times in the competition's history so it's understandable that some confusion resulted.

The offer of your prize is very generous! Certainly an upgrade from the usual packet of Rolos ;)

Please do send me an email (using the address on the compo website) so we can discuss this further.

Kind regards,
John

Don't worry - it's part of the lore of the CSSCGC that it always
finishes "later".
