The next 3 weeks are jam-packed with travel (Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands), finishing up a laundry room redecorate, and CAP flying. I'll be back in June. Have fun while I'm away!

I'll be leaving for Penang again this week. I get paid more in a week, than IT makes in a year. Not including mommies stipend.

Our little ballbreaker will be forced to troll the golf group and the Canada group.

You know, it's only $25 or so to have VZW/AT&T enable basic international data on a smartphone...assuming that the places you're staying doesn't offer free WiFi - the age of being totally out of touch is so last decade.

Case in point....

The ship we are on has free WiFi. I can keep in touch. I don't want to keep in touch.

Ah, that explains "Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland": it's a Rhine river cruise.
Which line you on? We did the Rhine on Uniworld a few years ago...and FYI,
you'll also probably have a stop in Strasbourg, France too.

In any case, the WiFi on the ships get slammed when everyone comes back onboard.

We have a mid-deck cabin on the AmaCerto. We do stop in Strasbourg too, forgot about that.

AMA is a nice company too .. was on them for the Danube.
That river had more "downtown" anchorages than the Rhine
(nicer for independent touring ... fewer busses).

We did a jump-off in that general area to go out to an Alcesian
winery .. was very pleasantly surprised with how inexpensive
their bottles were...just wish it was easy to carry home like back
in the old days..
