The best value in each market segment easily won out over the flagship
Apple & Android phones in terms of volume sold in 2019.

Apple's iPhone XR, iPhone 11, & iPhone 11 Pro Max were in the top 3 iOS
slots for 2019 based on volume.

It wasn't Samsung's flagship phones (e.g., the Galaxy S10 or Note 10
families) that delivered the volume of sales, but those phones with more
rational price-to-performance metrics, particularly in the "under $300
segment, i.e., 85% cheaper phones), such as the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A50, and
Galaxy A20 that garnered the top 3 Android slots for 2019 based on volume.

Notably Huawei is absent from the top ten in terms of 2019 sales volume.
