Hi out there !

I´m trying to use MS Access together with the Q+E-ODBC-Driver kit, and would
like to connect to a Progress Server. The only MSG I get is that there is a
configuration-File missing, or not correct.

"unable to read progress.cfg, reason=-4 (1732)" !

? Is anybody out there using Progress together with ODBC-Drivers ?

.... ck

The current Q+E driver only supports Progress 6, not Progress V7. Progress
themselves are supposed to release an ODBC driver in Q195.

OpenLink Software Ships what is already known in the PROGRESS
community as the only viable ODBC Driver for PROGRESS 6/7 DBMS
engines.

We do have a PROGRESS 7.2D Driver, but have decided not to port
this Driver across other UNIX flavours due to the iminent release
of 7.3A. OpenLink's High Performance ODBC Drivers Do Not Require
any PROGRESS Client Software on your PC for remote DBMS access.
