At around 10 AM this morning, among the scattered yucca stalks, there were 6 Mountain Bluebirds on the western slope of Mt Carbon. This is located in the SE corner of the park. About 30 minutes later, I retraced my steps and scoured the hillside for the bluebirds, but none were found.
