I was able to get a great look, with super light, of the Gray Flycatcher (about 10 minutes after Bob and Bob Sullivan departed). One half mile south of Alameda Avenue and S. Wadsworth Blvd head 0.2 miles (2 tenths) west on W. Ohio Avenue into the parking lot to the east of iCAST (777 South Wadsworth Boulevard Lakewood, Colorado 80226) -- slightly north into the parking lot overlooking Kountze Lake in Historic Belmar Park. Standing on the concrete N-S walking path (39 42.269N, 105 05.125W) the Gray Flycatcher was working the scrub and the Blue Spruce between that path and one 25 meters to the west. Tail pump was evident, particularly when the bird first perched. The flycatcher worked from the center of open bushes and trees to the ground, often catching insects on the ground. 12:45PM, Saturday afternoon, 11 May 2013. I met Joe Lupfer and Karen Clark. Joe got some amazing photos of the flycatcher. If you shoot me an email, I will send copies to you. If you cut and paste the coordinates listed above into Google, it will take you to the exact spot. See you at the Convention.
