Two especially popular--and useful!--columns are "In the Scope" and "The Hungry Bird." "In the Scope" is written by Tony Leukering, one of the all-time greats in Colorado field ornithology and a nationally prominent bird ID expert. "The Hungry Bird" is written by the brilliant and mildly bizarre Dave Leatherman, one of Colorado's finest birders and, unquestionably, Colorado's greatest entomo-ornithologist.
