Bobcat Ridge Natural Area/Larimer 04/08

Yesterday Nick Vanlanen and I hiked up to Bobcat ridge to observe raptors.  Here is what we saw;

Golden Eagle 3

Peregrine Falcon 1

Sharp-Shinned Hawk 2

Red-Tailed Hawk 4

American Kestrel 1

Turkey Vulture 10

Western Meadowlark 8

Black-Billed Magpie 3

Harry Woodpecker 1

Western Bluebird 4

Northern Flicker 1

Townsend’s Solitaire 1

 

Last week while birding by bike along the Poudre Bike trail I had a Say’s Phoebe and a Marsh Wren.
