CoBirders,
I located the palm warbler this afternoon after work (4:20-4:45) on the CO College campus, at the previously described location: south side of Barnes Science bldg, immediately west of the south entrance, in the three shrubs (just left of those entrance steps) with the feathery seed tufts--feeding busily along with over a dozen bushtit. The palm warbler even twice emitted a very weak song. (Had to patiently wait for two juvenile males of the skate-boarder species to finally injure themselves--minor--and then vacate the area, before I was able to hear the song, though I had found the bird in the midst of their noisy displays right there on the entrance steps & abutments...)
Thanks Saraiya, Lee, and Bill for the find and the great location-descriptions!
Marty Wolf,
