Midterm Details (PLEASE READ)

1. The IP form will cease to exist on Oct 10; the data pulled out and cleared. Meaning; if you did not fill your form by Oct 9th you will not be able to take the midterm.

2. The midterm will be administered on CANVAS (not google form). 

     - If you are a CAL student; we will be emailing you the details, we will be sending you separate details.

3. It will be between during the class hours on Oct 23rd; exact time will be announced closer to the date. It will be for 45 minutes

    There will be an access code that will be sent out on the SFU mailing list (@cs.sfu.ca) the day before so ensure that you look at your SFU mails the day before.

4. It will be OPEN BOOK. Things permitted

     - Any of the class handouts, slides, textbook or written material.

     - NO VMs or TERMINAL

     - NO ONLINE RESOURCES.

5. Please note your IPs; it is your responsibility to ensure that you are taking the test from the machine with IP that you registered in the form.

    I would advise that you check your IPs a day ahead to ensure this.

    If you do not access CANVAS from this IP; you simply will not be allowed to take the test.

Note that the midterm will include everything from Week 1 to Week 6 (including).  

Most weeks (not necessarily all) will include a summary deck. You might find these useful when going over the midterm

Hello professor, I unfortunately submitted the IP form late, but thankfully was still able to fill and submit it. Am I good for being able to take the midterm/final?
