Postdoc position, University of Glasgow, UK

The project is to study the physics of the solar system plasma and
non-thermal particles in the near-Sun environment and further into space
– the heliosphere  by means of in-situ observations of particles and
fields and low frequency radio emission observed by LOFAR. The
investigation is supported by theoretical calculations of the plasma
wave, wave-particle and particle transport processes that link the Sun
to space and governs "space weather". The group has close involvement
with instruments and missions (Parker Solar Probe, Solar Orbiter)
designed to study the inner heliospheric environment and develop a range
of theoretical projects for the next generation of instruments like the
Square Kilometer Array.
