She is giving an online talk at a Python Ireland meetup that may be of interest to folk teaching coding / making / playing with embedded systems

The event starts at 7pm though I think it will be nearer 8pm before Lorraine starts.
Lorraine is an Ireland-bred (Tallaght) / Yorkshire-living, maker, author, senior at Lancaster University and mum of 2 boys. She will be talking about her book Save the World with Code: 20 Fun Projects for All Ages Using Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, and Circuit Playground Express.
Save the Code has all about sensor and microcontroller stuff for python with cool projects like light-up bicycles and cookie jar alarms.
