Hi,

I'm trying to connect my B2 to my network to access it with a Sonos speaker, but for some reason my Windows 10 PCs aren't seeing the device at all. The primary network shows all my other devices - a couple of NASes, the TV, the Sonos, another wireless speaker. But no B2 anywhere. I can access the B2 via the IP address it displays when it's switched on. Is there a setting somewhere on the B2 itself that will allow the network to see it?

Have you enabled the B2's NAS feature?

I have, but I still can't see it at all. Does it take a while for the network drive to appear?

In an email you mentioned:  I have two wireless networks and the B2 has connected to the secondary one while the Sonos and everything else are connected to the primary.

Is the B2 connected two a different SSID on the same router?  Can you temporarily connect it to the same SSID as the other devices?

No, it's connected to the same SSID as everything else. I just checked in the Orbi UI.

Ah, hang on! I've got it. It's still not appearing as a network device, but I was able (eventually!) to connect it using the URL and "root" username. I have no idea why it's worked, but I'm not going to poke at it to find out in case I break it again. Thanks for your help, Dennis. :)

Hi Sian,

Edwyn posted this for Windows 10 -  "Open Windows explorer, right click on "This PC" and choose Map network drive, navigate the the folder you want, \\BrennanB2\music in this case (you can type this straight in) click confirm and you will now have a Z drive if this is the first one you have mapped"

Thanks Paul. The problem I was having was that the network drive wasn't appearing at all on the PC. But I got there in the end using the \\BrennanB2\music URL, even though the drive wasn't listed. I don't know why it worked, or why it wouldn't show the drive, but it's all fine now. Thanks everyone for your help. :)
