- You’re the voice of the customer, passionately
committed to aligning customer needs with business goals, and in your
sprint grooming session you story point like a boss.
- You
understand why you designed something, and you can advocate for that in
our team environment while collaborating with product managers and
engineers.
- You believe in robust research and can adapt to the results – even if it means significant change to an original idea.
- You’re constantly exploring and evaluating the best design tools and processes.
- You’re able to visualize the end-to-end experience, defining the right customer experience across multiple surfaces.

understand the importance of a solid design process … and you can help
us build and evolve that across our multifaceted teams.
About the role
We’re looking for a Sr. User Experience Designer for our
Audible on Amazon team to contribute to the growth and evolution of the
preeminent immersive experience brand. Our team drives customer-centered
experiences for Audible on Fire devices (tablets, TV), e-readers, and
Whispersync For Voice (Read & Listen) across all Amazon surfaces.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer with a proven track record of shipping consumer products.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM/Lean-UX
- Develop high-level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate voice interaction and design ideas.
- Expert in design thinking (designing with the goal of a better future, rather than solving a specific problem).
- Strong focus on Think Big given the limitless possibilities on Amazon devices.
- Comfort across a range of platforms and devices – we reach users across a full suite of products: responsive web, apps, integration with third-party products and Amazon products like Echo.
- This is a highly cross-functional role, which requires the designer to have the ability to work with multiple product, engineering and design stakeholders across Amazon and Audible.
