User Experience Positions in Rhole Island

We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a User Experience Researcher on a very long term consulting basis.  In this role, the UX Researcher will:

• Perform User Experience Research that includes developing and leading research strategies, analyzing and synthesizing customer research findings and developing actionable insights across all digital channels. 
• Identify, plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover user needs, design vision and strategy.
• Conduct contextual inquiries, surveys, usability tests, A/B testing, card-sorting, expert reviews, and competitive analysis.
• Lead user research projects on internal and external web, desktop, mobile products and multi-channel digital media.
• Provide guidance and support to designers and other researchers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Prepare and deliver concise and impactful research reports to members of the project team and other stakeholders at all levels within the organization

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:

• Significant hands-on career progression as a User Experience (UX) Researcher, Design Researcher or User Experience Analyst.
• Consumer and internally facing web-based, desktop, mobile app and digital channel research methods.
• A combination of User Research methodologies that includes:  Qualitative and quantitative research, contextual inquiries, survey’s, A/B testing, card-sorting, expert (heuristic) reviews, and persona development.
• Projects related to Human Factors principals and research strategies, Visual Design, User Experience, User Interface, Usability and Information Architecture.  
• Skills that may include visioning, story-boarding, high to low fidelity prototypes, lab and online studies, usability testing, and metrics analysis.
• Agile development and lean user research methodologies.

We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a User Interface Designer on a very long term consulting basis.  In this role, the Designer will:

• Work collaboratively with business, creative, UX and IT stakeholders to assist in upgraded CMS System templates, builds, layouts, designs and multiple assets in a responsive design, HTML / CSS environment for public facing websites.
• Assist with redesign of assets that includes reformatting significant web properties, photos and related assets.
• Assist in design and revision of templates, layouts, style guides and grid and column layouts while maintain visual design properties.
• Reformat and slice images utilizing Photoshop.
• Utilize Axure for wireframing, rapid prototyping, documentation and specifications.
• Assist in managing visual design, brand & marketing integration.
• Utilize graphics software applications, techniques, and tools for web design solutions that support external communication strategies and goals.   
• Work with a very healthy and collaborative design team.
• Work closely with business peers to understand project requirements and create web design solutions that enhance the online user experience.

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:

• User Interface Design and Visual Design for consumer facing websites within Content Management Systems.
• Design of templates, layouts, grids and columns within Content Management Systems.
• Image manipulation for Content Management Systems and consumer facing consumption.
• Significant exposure to responsive design, layout and usability in HTML and CSS environments.
• Web site user experience standards and knowledge of emerging technology in responsive design and mobile technology.
• Axure (or other tools) for wire framing, prototyping and documentation.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphics tools.

A team player who has contributed to collaborative design teams and has taken direction from in-house design leads.
