This role is for a talented User Experience Designer who is passionate about building dynamic interfaces and experiences that are both engaging and usable.
About the Role
The Intralinks User Experience Team is chartered with designing and prototyping world-class user interfaces for Intralinks products that will assure an efficient and intuitive experience for our customers. Candidate should have an understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, an interest in the technical aspects that bring designs to life and a thorough understanding of the mobile landscape. They should have the ability to communicate and translate the ideas of the team into presentable formats as well as the ability to lead and champion collaborative design techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Provide iterative design sketches, mental model, user flows, wireframes and high quality prototypes to describe navigation schema, user tasks, and user journeys for product features or enhancements
- Facilitate design workshops to gain consensus and inform design utilizing user centered design techniques
- Gather business requirements, conduct user research, test and validate UX designs for all product design work
- Build low-to high fidelity prototypes to be used as part of usability tests and design iterations
- Support and collaborate with development teams during development of Intralinks products
Qualifications:
Required:
- Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience defining, developing, and documenting UX design and interaction requirements and specifications
- Experience designing and implementing applications in iOS and Android environments
- Expert knowledge of user centered design methodologies
- Experience running design workshops
- An ability to produce appropriate sketches, drawn renderings, wireframes, navigation models, illustrations, diagrams, etc. in an iterative environment
- Proficient in Axure and Visio or Omnigraffle as well as Photoshop or Fireworks
- Portfolio of previous projects
- 6 plus years of experience
Desired:
- Expert knowledge of planning and moderating user research and testing
- Strong portfolio of previous UX design and mobile projects
- Familiarity with Section 508, accessibility guidelines
- Familiarity designing cross-browser user interfaces, desktop clients, in addition to mobile UIs
- Ability to rapidly iterate through wireframes
- Up-to-date on new technologies and trends
