How to install older BBB versions?

I would like to know if is possible install older BBB versions.

Are there any command to do that? For example: sudo apt-get install bigbluebutton -version X.X

Hi Gilberto,

We still have the links to install BigBlueButton 0.81, but they will go away when Google Code goes away on January 25th, 2016.

We recommend you install BigBlueButton 0.9.0 if you are setting up a new server.  Seriously, there is a lot of good improvements over 0.81 -- including webRTC-based audio and Start/Stop button for recordings.

Unfortunately, I need to install this version because I cannot create a new server. This server uses Ubuntu 10.04 TLS and I cannot change it.

Could you tell me where links are?

Ubuntu 10.04 is no longer receiving security updates from Ubuntu.  You *really* want to move to Ubuntu 14.04.

We have not tested this (it will likely not work).

We developed, packaged, installed, and tested BigBlueButton 0.9.0 for Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. 

We recommend you install 0.9.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit.

These instructions are for installation BigBlueButton 0.81 on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit.  

We haven't tested them on any other version of Ubuntu and, as such, it probably won't work on anything except Ubuntu 10.04.

I have just one more question, I promisse.
When I use this command to install BBB: sudo apt-get install bigbluebutton. How apt-get knows what version will be installed?
I think that it will be the latest 0.90 and not 0.81, right?

It's based on the URL in the file bigbluebutton.list.  See

That is incorrect.

We have not developed nor tested any other combinations of BigBlueButton versions with Ubuntu OS.
