Hi BBB team,

I have been struggling with this for sometime and need your help. I really appreciate your time.

I have configured sakai 10.4 and bbb 0.9 and both of them works perfectly fine; Now i am trying to integrate but not getting an option in Saki to create a meeting. I do see the meeting tool and have given additional permission in sakai.properties. I added the meeting tool for the site and can see the meeting tool but there is no option in sakai to create a meeting.

I have reached the sakai group but no resolution...

Version Sakai 10.4 and BBB 0.9

I am guessing it is not hitting this server only; I have a VM ware ; i can access bbb server outside my vm through a browser and get a success response.

I tried changing the url in bbb.url to something else; i didnt get any error too

Hi Rajesh Francis

First thing, consider the time zone difference. At this side of the globe we have the bad habit of sleeping at night :)

So, first thing first. I would recommend you to use master

That branch has the latest fixes/changes done for current users of this tool. Including fixes to the dependencies which I think is what is causing you troubles.

One more thing, I'll follow-up with you on this, and I am really trying to catch up with what you were doing last night (night for me), but it is harder when reviewing the posts in the two lists. We can keep track any of them but please, lets use only one.

I'll put a post in the sakai mailing list, but whatever we do will go from the use of the master branch for your deployment.

Thanks,

JF

Jesus Federico

Hi Rajesh,

It is me again. Now I am bugging you while you sleep eh! ;)

Just a quick update. I was chatting with Adrian Fish from the Sakai community. I learned that you are using the branch 10.x he created (which is the most most updated by the way, as it works with Morpheus). He is going to merge into master so any further move should be done from there.

When you try to do your next deployment just make sure from the commits that you are using the latest code. It should be either on master or 10.x, but only the dates of the commits will tell you which one you should pick.

We'll be cleaning the github repo and updating documents in the next days so no one else get confused.

I'll keep track of the thread in the sakai mailing list.

Regards,

Jesus Federico

Hi Jesus,

Adrian has been a big help and i have used the 10.x branch now. All issues reported by us has been fixed. We had spent a lot of time in deciding what tools to use and we cornered and decided on BBB. This is the best decision we took.

I appreciate your help Jesus;

On a lighter note this part of the world ~ we do sleep also.

Cheers,

Rajesh
