Server status from API

Hi,

I would like know if it's possible to get the server status from any API? because I would like to prevent users to access a meeting if the server is down.

Hi Grui,

You could make a call to  /bigbluebutton/api, as in

  http://test-install.blindsidenetworks.com/bigbluebutton/api

You should get

   <response><returncode>SUCCESS</returncode><version>0.81</version></response>

If you don't get a response back, then the server isn't reachable or bbb-web ins't running -- in either case, the BigBlueButton server is down.
