No way for you to bid. One of two things is going to happen. 1. The auction owner extends the end date/time due to the site being down. 2. Auction ends and you are out of luck. It is up to the person running the auction. Pros and cons to each way of doing it.

I have an auction running that was supposed to end "after 5 PM today," and I'm going to be extending the end time until tomorrow sometime (assuming the site is even back up by then....). Ultimately, for auctions ending on Sunday this is a pretty big hit for a lot of people because during the week access to the internet is often limited.

Out of everything on the site that needs to be reliable, it would be online auctions..

Yeah. I get that the site needs to be down sometimes, and I don't want to complain on a site-wide level because I really have plenty to do and appreciate everything on BGG. My problem is that I was hoping to have this thing closed and start packaging if not shipping things out tonight since tomorrow I have a busy schedule and I left this afternoon open specifically for this. Oh well, I'll be a busy duck tomorrow afternoon.
